Integrated Solutions for Groundwater Problems – Alexandria Historic Cisterns: Training Course within ERTH – Athar Lina Heritage and Climate Project
6 days in Alexandria over two weekends (5-7 and 12-14 September 2024).
Course topics:
– Integrated solutions for groundwater rise in historic areas (methods and case studies).
– Condition surveys, site assessment, maintenance and conservation solutions for groundwater rise in historic sites.
– Techniques for harvesting, treatment and use of groundwater for the benefit of local communities,
Needs assessment and stakeholder participation in contextual design and decision-making.
– Management and monitoring.
ERTH project is run by Megawra under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities with funding from the British Council’s #CulturalProtectionFund, in partnership with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport.

الأسكندرية - 6 أيام خلال عطلتي نهاية الأسبوع: 5-7 سبتمبر و12-14 سبتمبر 2024.
تدور موضوعات الدورة حول:
- حلول متكاملة لمشاكل ارتفاع المياه الأرضية في المناطق التاريخية (منهجيات ودراسات حالة).
- دراسات الحالة وحلول الصيانة والترميم للمواقع التاريخية المتأثرة بمشاكل المياه الأرضية.
- تقنيات معالجة المياه الأرضية واستخدامها لخدمة المجتمع.
- تقدير الاحتياجات وإشراك أصحاب المصلحة في عملية التصميم واتخاذ القرار.
- الإدارة والمتابعة
مشروع إرث من تنفيذ مجاورة في إطار مبادرة الأثر لنا، تحت إشراف وزارة السياحة والآثار المصرية وبتمويل من صندوق الحماية الثقافية التابع للمجلس الثقافي البريطاني، بالشراكة مع وزارة الشؤون الرقمية والثقافة والإعلام والرياضة.
