We would like to thank Juan Carlos Bermejo, who dedicated a morning during his recent Cairo trip, to give a presentation on case studies from his conservation practice JCB Conservación to our team of conservators and conservation architects.

The presentation titled “Comparative technical study of five polychrome wooden ceilings from Spain and Morocco: the Western Islamic Tradition” dove into structural, material, analytic, and methodological aspects of the conservation work. It was a truly insightful presentation for the team.

We would also like to thank Yazid Kailali from the JCB Conservación team who was also present and facilitated explanatory annotations.
