Khalifa – Inside Out | Athar Lina 3

Athar Lina III: Sponsored by the British Council, Egypt, in collaboration with the Built Environment Collective (Megawra), Chirine el-Ansary (storyteller) and the Ministry of State for Antiquities.

Objective:
Using mapping and storytelling techniques to design an interactive modifiable street sign with map to guide visitors to al-Khalifa Street’s most significant features, both historical and contemporary, tangible and intangible. The stories, sights and sounds collected will also be the basis for a tale of the street to be recounted by storyteller Chirine el-Ansary during the opening ceremony of the Shajar al-Durr Conservation Project.
