We invite you to spend a day with your family at al-Imam al-Shafi’i Visitors Centre

Come visit the first-ever visitors’ centre in a shrine in Historic Cairo. Learn about al-Imam al-Shafi’i, the shrine(s) built in his honour, how it was conserved through the ages, and the history of al-Qarafa cemetery where it is located.
Bring your children to try out different activities & explore in a playful sense the heritage of al-Imam al-Shafi’i.
